There is a simple rule on internet, the more traffic you get the more you earn. Considering the traffic in terms of pageviews, Facebook has surpassed almost every site on the world wide web now. It seems as if Facebook was destined to make progress and no one can stop it. With over 750 million active users Facebook just does not stop growing.
Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg too, keeps going up higher and higher on the list of richest Americans, as The Zuck is now, according to Forbes’ annual “Richest People in America” list, richer than the Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Zuckerberg, who was number 35 on the list last year, is number 14 on the list now. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has a personal net worth of $17.5 billion which is higher than Brin and Page, both of whom are worth $16.7 billion and rank at 15th.
According to Frobes’ annual list, Bill Gates, with his wealth being estimated at $59 billion, topped the list with Warren Buffett at number two and Oracle CEO Larry Ellison was number three. Despite giving billions of dollars away in charity in recent times, the ex-CEO of Microsoft Corporation has actually had his worth increased from $54 billion from Fall last year.
Mark Zuckerberg wasn’t even a billionaire two years ago, and now he is the 14th richest man in the world. The calculation of his net worth includes not only his paper money but also the assets he owns.
