Beauty Pick Me Up – Countour And Create While Still Looking Natural!

How is it that celebrities always mange to look so amazing and flawless when on the red carpet or during a photo-shoot? Sure, there’s that whole thing about genetics and all … but really, it’s a few beauty expert tips that make the subtle but big difference!
Think of it as Photoshop for your face that you can wear the whole day! Enhance a jawline, make eyes brighter, define cheekbones, whatever you want! And still look natural while doing it!
Here’s a few tried and true tricks and tips on how to do it for yourself! Then click on the slideshow to see some of our fave products that will help you get the look!
Brighter, Wider Eyes – Eyes convey and express a lot, so make them bright and electric! Using eye drops eliminates any redness, then line the lower lids with a bright white liner to make then seem bigger. A dot of highlighter, blended well, at the inside and outside corners also helps to open eyes up. Curling the lashes and adding a few coats of black, volumizing mascara also helps!
Enhance Your Jawline – A prominent jawline is a sexy trait and can also make the face seem thinner or more defined. Simply use a large blush or face brush and tap it gently into a bronzer (matte) that is about 2 shades darker. Lightly brush along your natural jawline, focusing mostly on the curve below the ear and being careful to blend, blend, blend outwards towards the chin. A little goes along way so use sparingly!
Define Cheekbones – There’s nothing more feminine and beautiful that high, well defined cheekbones! Suck in your cheeks and dust bronzer into the hollow. Then, at the apple of the cheeks, brush on just a little bit of blush, being sure to blend both out and upwards towards the temple! Instant cheekbones!
Contour Your Nose – Forget nose jobs and rhinoplasty that can be costly, painful and risky! All you need is an angled blush brush (look for a lightly smaller size) and some bronzer (matte)! Tap your brush gently into the bronzer and brush onto the sides of the nose, being sure to blend well. Avoid the center of the nose. Do define the nose bridge even further, apply a few small dots down the center of the nose vertically and blend, blend blend!
Plump Your Lips – Who needs Restylane injections when you’ve got lip gloss? Apply a chapstick or any other clear and thick lip balm first. Using a lip liner, define just the bow of the upper lip. Then apply your favorite lipstick color as usual. Add a dot of shiny, iridescent gloss to the center of the upper and lower lip and (very) gently blend in. Muah!
